As the largest global auto parts network, our Automotive Group is a big part of our company. It totals 66% of GPC’s net sales and services North America, Europe, Australia, and New Zealand.
Automotive Group
In North America, more than 560,000 parts are sold primarily under the NAPA brand name, widely recognized for quality parts, quality service, and knowledgeable people. Our international supply chain provides fast, dependable, and efficient distribution of parts to our retail stores and customers. Our global automotive network serves approximately 5,900 NAPA Auto Parts stores in the U.S., 700 wholesalers in Canada, 13 stores in Mexico, approximately 2,400 automotive stores and outlets in Europe, and 540 automotive locations in Australia and New Zealand. These stores sell to both retail and commercial automotive aftermarket customers and cover substantially all domestic and foreign motor vehicle models. It’s no wonder we’re recognized by more than 90% of do-it-yourself customers as a reliable source for many of their automotive needs.
The Automotive Supply Group (ASG) is GPC’s newest division. It is made up of several operations that work together to support the company’s North American automotive business. Headquartered in both Atlanta and Indianapolis, ASG employs over 1,100 people who are dedicated to supplying our customers with the right parts when they need them.ASG is comprised of Balkamp, Heavy Vehicle Parts Group, and Rayloc. We focus on the fast, frequent delivery of wholesale and retail automotive aftermarket products. Our customers depend on us to quickly deliver over 500,000 quality parts and products to stores, warehouses, and distribution centers across North America.
