Job Description

SUMMARY

Motion Ai brings together the leading high-tech automation solution providers for industrial automation across the United States. Our expertise includes emerging automation technologies with focused disciplines in robotics, motion control, machine vision, digital networking/IIoT (Industrial Internet of Things), industrial framing, pneumatics, and custom mechatronic systems. Motion Ai provides best-in-class engineered systems, products, and services to a variety of industries highlighting a few which include semiconductor, pharmaceutical, Life Sciences, medical, logistics, Food & Beverage, Packaging, automotive, and aerospace.

Motion Ai is seeking a highly motivated individual with industrial experience to join our dynamic team as a Customer Service Representative II. The successful candidate will have excellent customer service skills and a deep understanding of the industrial product lines we offer. 

COMPENSATION:

$19.50 - $24.50 hourly

JOB DUTIES:

  • Manage a high volume of incoming calls and emails from customers, ensuring that inquiries are responded to promptly, accurately, and professionally.

  • Respond to customer inquires regarding products, provide quotes and handle order entry.

  • Place orders and provide order acknowledgements to customers in an efficient and effective manner, while ensuring sales targets are met.

  • Work with third-party vendors to ensure that orders are processed and delivered on time, while meeting company standards.

  • Research product-related inquiries and develop an in-depth understanding of our industrial product lines to accurately provide information to customers.

  • Process returns and exchanges, ensuring that the customer's needs are met, while maintaining standards and departmental metrics.

  • Build and maintain lasting customer relationships by providing excellent customer care and driving repeat business.

  • Train new employees on our products, systems, and processes to ensure continuity and consistency when providing customer service.

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams across the organization to drive continuous improvement and innovation.

SKILLS & EXPERIENCE:

  • Minimum of two years of experience in industrial automation or relevant industry customer service setting. 

  • Sound understanding of industrial product lines and customer service principles and practices, excellent communication and customer service skills are a must.

  • Strong technical knowledge and the ability to make timely decisions based on industrial product needs and company policies.

  • Ability to multitask, prioritize and work under pressure while ensuring that departmental metrics and industrial standards are maintained.

  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills while understanding complex industrial product information.

  • Sound understanding of Microsoft Office applications, including Word, Excel, and Outlook. 

  • Microsoft Dynamics GP or Prophet 21 experience a plus.
