  SUMMARY:

  
  

  Under limited supervision, the On-Site Support Specialist performs support functions for a customer site. This position works 100% of the time at the customer location in Wilmington, NC.

  
  
  

  JOB DUTIES

  
  

• Provides excellent customer service that will enhance the relationship and lead to ongoing sales.
• Performs one or more of the following support functions primarily at a customer location that include, but are not limited to VMI, driving, delivery, stocking, crib attendant, storeroom work and/or customer service.
• Unloads delivery vehicles, stocks customer inventory and makes deliveries to on-site customer locations. Maintains inventory levels of on-site vending machines.
• Routinely interacts with customers to obtain and fulfill orders correctly. Interacts with suppliers as necessary to obtain pricing for items.
• Performs other duties as assigned.

  EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE

  
  

• Typically requires a high school diploma or GED and three (3) to five (5) years of related experience or an equivalent combination.

• 
  

  
  

  KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, ABILITIES

  
  

• Reliability, organization and attention to detail required.
• Industry experience required; product knowledge from previous warehouse experience is preferred.
• Customer service and communication skills required.
• Ability to multi-task and time management skills required.
• Moderate computer skills, including information processing, communicating internally and externally via email, using business systems and searching capabilities to find products on the Internet required.
• May need to be certified to operate a forklift.
• Valid driver’s license and good driving record required.

  PHYSICAL DEMANDS:

  
  

• Must be able to move up to 100 lbs and lift up to 50 lbs.

  LICENSES & CERTIFICATIONS:

• Will need to be lift truck certified upon hire. 
• Will need to undergo training at the customer facility in order to gain access to restricted areas
