As we continue to grow, we’re looking for an eCommerce Specialist to help shape and execute our local and global eCommerce strategies.
This role is based at our Truganina head office (1/1 Magnesium Place, Truganina), offering an exciting opportunity for someone looking to make a meaningful impact in a fast-paced, high-growth environment.
As our eCommerce Specialist, you’ll play a critical role in driving the performance of our online channels across local and global markets. You’ll be responsible for delivering strategies that optimize customer engagement, improve conversion rates, and achieve sales targets.
This role will report directly to the Head of Digital, providing you with the opportunity to collaborate closely with a dynamic and innovative team to achieve business objectives.
Job tasks and responsibilities:
Deliver and drive eCommerce performance across local and global markets, ensuring the achievement of budgeted sales targets.
Develop and lead strategies for eCommerce, customer engagement, and conversion optimization.
Manage and lead eCommerce projects across local and global markets, ensuring timely delivery and alignment with business goals.
Provide insights and identify opportunities by leveraging digital analytics and data platforms (e.g., Google Analytics, Adobe Analytics, SEMrush, Google Search Console).
Manage and optimize digital platforms (e.g., Magento or similar) to ensure seamless performance, user experience, and functionality.
Oversee the retail website and CMS systems, including content scheduling, SEO optimization, and merchandising.
Manage email marketing and marketing automation platforms to deliver the brand experience.
Work closely with technical third-party vendors to deliver and maintain eCommerce operations and integrations.
Manage performance (paid) marketing platforms and partners to drive traffic and conversions.
Collaborate with marketplace vendors (e.g., eBay, Amazon) to manage and enhance the multi-channel strategy.
Work closely with media, operations, and product teams to deliver the overall Digital and Content strategy.
Collaborate with the in-house Content Producer to activate and merchandise the retail website effectively.
Skills and experience:
To be successful in this role you will need:
Strong background in Magento or other eCommerce platforms (4-5 years).
Proficiency in Google Analytics, Adobe Analytics, and tools like SEMrush and Google Search Console.
Strong technical knowledge of eCommerce systems and integrations.
Experience in digital marketing tools and techniques (e.g., Meta Ads, Google Ads, Klaviyo).
Ability to analyse and report on customer journeys, lifecycle, and optimization to recommend enhancements to the eCommerce experience.
Proven project management experience with third-party vendors.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills with a positive team attitude.
Self-motivated, detail-oriented, and passionate about delivering exceptional customer experiences online.
Adaptability and problem-solving skills to navigate challenges and changing priorities.
Creative thinker with strong analytical capabilities.
Knowledge of marketplaces and multi-channel management.
Passion for 4WD/Automotive is a bonus but not essential.
