to the automotive aftermarket, serving over 30,000 repairers across the UK & Ireland. AAG
UK comprises two distributors networks (GROUPAUTO UK and the United Aftermarket
Network) that benefit from an efficient logistics and product offering from its wholly-owned
subsidiaries FPS, Apec, Platinum and BTN Turbo. Consolidated revenues are around €650m,
with over 3,000 employees working for the group across 800+ distributor outlets.
The combination of these businesses gives our associated members and garages market-
leading commercial terms on exclusive private label brands as well as original equipment
(OE) or OE-matched quality suppliers. Our affiliated and wholly-owned distributorshave
access to business services such as fleet deals, branding, utility services, and marketing
support.
PurposeoftheJob
Working within a dynamicand fast pacedcommercialdepartment, your role forms an
essential link in the supply chain. You will take full ownershipin ensuring our stock
availability remains strong through your ability to forecast and replenish stock efficiently.
Keyresponsibilitiesandduties-dailytaskswillincludebutnotbelimitedto:
•Forecasting and replenishment of a large range of SKUs across multiple supplier
accounts
•Understand fluctuations in demand as well as seasonal trend patterns and
promotional activity to maintain stock levels
•Maximise availability to customers whilst optimising inventory throughoutAAG’s
National and Regional Distribution Centre network
•Perform different types of analysis to manage targets and performance, as well as to
assess upcoming inventory projects.
•Monitor supplier performance and work with stakeholders to deliver improvements
•Work withAAG UKforecasting and inventory management system,Slimstock, as well
as the ERP system,Kerridge/MAM
•Working with other departments within the organisation to ensure the appropriate
purchasing and stocking strategies are applied to each supplier / product
•Collaborate with DC Operations Team to resolve any issues relating to deliveries,
space capacity, critical priority allocation etc
•Continually track the lifecycle of each PO under your control, from placement to
delivery.
•Ensure POdue dates are always kept up to date.
