Job Description

The Warehouse Manager manages order fulfillment, shipping, receiving, delivery and warehouse functions. This role hires, trains, schedules, and directs warehouse employees. The Warehouse Manager assures inventory accuracy.

JOB DUTIES

• Manages and supervises direct reports including but not limited to, hiring, training, professional development, evaluation, coaching, and discipline.

• Supervises warehouse activities to facilitate the most efficient and economical use of space for storing and distributing raw material and finished products.

• Delegates and assigns tasks to warehouse employees.

• Develops stock location and order picking strategies to optimize work flow, space utilization, and labor productivity.

• Manages inventory quality and accuracy.

• Manages order fulfillment, shipping, receiving and warehouse organization.

• Maintains warehouse location system and inventory accuracy.

• Schedules and directs daily customer deliveries.

• Services Customers at Will Call Counter.

• Performs other duties as assigned.

EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE

Typically requires a bachelor's degree and five (5) or more years of related experience or an equivalent combination.

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, ABILITIES

• Ability to interact positively with direct reports, coworkers, and customers.

• Attention to detail and strong organizational skills.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS:

Must be able to spend up to 8 hours standing and walking to perform warehouse duties. Must be able to lift and carry 30 lbs. Must be able to operate hand pallet truck

LICENSES & CERTIFICATIONS: None required.

SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITY: 0-5 Direct Reports or 5-10 Direct Reports

BUDGET RESPONSIBILITY: No
