The Role
We have coming up an exciting vacancy for an experienced Automotive Equipment Sales Specialist to join our team. External Equipment Sales is an important position in our business.
Reporting to the Area Trade Manager, you will be responsible for building strong relationships with our existing and new customers. Grow Sales revenue for the Repco equipment sales division by effectively building growing & maintaining customer relationships. You’ll process orders, compile quotations, manage customer inquiries and liaise with our Equipment Sales Support people and store network. You will be professional in identifying new customers and ensuring they are supported with the technical information required. Customer needs & follow ups are paramount within our business unit. You will be required to attend supplier-based product training to enhance your technical capability and sales efficiency within the GPC equipment portfolio.
To be successful in the position, you will
- Have proven sales experience in a relationship-based sales role
- Have proven ability to increase profit margins and grow market share
- Complete quotes, demonstrations and follow ups consistently to close out opportunities.
- Provide feedback to other relevant parties within the business unit.
- Supporting our sales rep force with technical advice
- Cold call on potential new customers to grow your sales & customer portfolio
- Set and achieve sales goals and targets
- Problem solves to ensure customers receive a highly professional level of service.
- Build and maintain strong working relationships with the wider business unit
- Ensure product knowledge is maintained at a high level with a focus on knowledge and sales of workshop equipment.
- Possess exceptional communication skills.
- Have excellent attention to detail and the ability to multi-task.
- Be proficient in using MS Office suite and our internal software system
- Be energetic, enthusiastic and driven.
Your ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment with minimal supervision, whilst displaying a positive & self-motivated attitude will have you well suited to this rewarding and exciting position and in return an attractive package with benefits, tools of the trade will be provided along with a company motor vehicle.
