About the role:
Playing an integral part in the coordination of category related marketing collateral, this fast-paced role reports directly to a Merchandise Manager and ensures that category/merchandise plans are rolled out to schedule. You will support in the growth and profitability of the category and development and implementation of National Trade Promotions, Retail Catalogues, and other promotional Events.

This role is within the Accessories, Adventure & Events category, which has a diverse and exciting product range including 4x4 & adventure, car accessories, and gifting. It is a fast-paced category, with a heavy focus on bringing new and exciting product to life!

Key Responsibility Areas:

  • Meet business objectives in relation to category plans.
  • Manage the category promotional program including catalogue layout and product space allocation, as well as supplying relevant marketing data. 
  • Ensuring catalogue deadlines are met.
  • New product research.
  • Data analysis and review.
  • Report preparation and presentation.
  • General administration support related to the role and category.
  • Internal and external stakeholder relationship building.

About you:

  • Category, merchandise or buying exposure, or an interest in developing a career in this area.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Intermediate Microsoft suite capabilities including PowerPoint, Excel and Word.
  • Ability to solve problems and analyse data.
  • Team player who takes pride in their work and the team’s success
  • Detail focus and deadline driven.
  • Ability to develop strong business relationships.
  • Self-motivator, who is organised and highly adaptable to changing business requirements.
