Position Purpose

We are seeking a Lead UX Engineer to build and maintain reusable React components for our design system. This role involves close collaboration with designers and engineers, a deep understanding of design tokens, CI/CD practices, and a service-oriented mindset to ensure scalable, future-proof solutions.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain React components with a focus on performance, accessibility, and scalability.

  • Implement and manage design tokens to maintain consistent theming and styling across platforms.

  • Create and maintain CI/CD pipelines with GitHub Actions for automated testing and deployment.

  • Collaborate closely with product designers to ensure smooth design-to-code integration.

  • Ensure component quality through unit, integration, and visual regression testing using Jest.

  • Document components and systems thoroughly to support team collaboration and system scalability.

  • Act with a service-oriented mindset, responding to internal feedback and adapting solutions as needed.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of front-end development experience with a focus on React and JavaScript/TypeScript.

  • Strong understanding of design tokens, CSS-in-JS frameworks (e.g., Tailwind), and component-based architecture.

  • Experience building and maintaining CI/CD pipelines with GitHub Actions.

  • Proficiency in Jest for automated testing.

  • Strong documentation skills to support knowledge sharing and collaboration.

  • Bonus: Experience with React Native for cross-platform development.
