Position Purpose

We’re excited to welcome a motivated professional to join us in exploring exciting new opportunities in the APAC market, with a particular focus on developing innovative e-commerce solutions.

This project centers on the digital transformation of our business operations in Australia and New Zealand. It involves migrating legacy systems to a modern, cloud-based architecture while maintaining and improving upon the existing solutions.

Responsibilities

  • Design and build scalable e-commerce solutions.

  • Collaborate with teams to develop solutions for catalog, pricing, tax, and inventory management services.

  • Maintain and migrate legacy systems to a modern technology stack, while creating a smooth transition path to deliver solutions you can take pride in.

  • Drive quality and testing improvements by implementing and maintaining automated testing procedures to identify regressions and issues early.

  • Build modern, responsive front-end components using frameworks like React, Vue.js, or Bootstrap.

  • Ensure optimal website performance by minimizing page load times, reducing HTTP requests, and using other performance-enhancing techniques.

  • Evaluate, assess, and recommend new frameworks and libraries for potential implementation.

  • Implement and maintain CI/CD pipelines, as well as containerization and orchestration solutions.

  • Ensure application security, monitor performance, and apply the necessary optimizations.

  • Develop and integrate RESTful and GraphQL APIs.

  • Collaborate effectively with team members and stakeholders by understanding business needs and translating them into well-designed web applications.

  • Maintain a practical balance between technical perfection and delivering business value.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience in a full-stack development role.

  • Proven experience in the development of cloud-based e-commerce solutions.

  • Strong familiarity with back-end technologies (e.g., Java, Node.js).

  • Solid understanding of cloud solutions and hands-on ability to implement architectures using leading cloud providers (e.g., AWS, Azure, Google Cloud Platform).

  • Proficiency in working with robust databases and data solutions (e.g., PostgreSQL, BigQuery).

  • Experience with CI/CD pipelines (e.g., GitHub Actions), containerization (Docker), and orchestration tools (Kubernetes).

  • Familiarity with web security best practices.

  • Strong communication and teamwork skills, with the ability to collaborate across technical and non-technical areas.

  • Experience building and integrating services with RESTful and GraphQL APIs.

  • A proven ability to troubleshoot and solve complex technical issues quickly and effectively, providing both short- and long-term solutions.

Nice to Have

  • Experience integrating with headless CMS and commerce platforms (e.g., Contentful, Builder.io, CommerceTools, Shopify).

  • Hands-on experience with automated testing frameworks such as Cypress or Jest.
