Position Purpose:

The Associate Product Manager is responsible for assessing business needs and working with cross-functional product teams to find the fastest way to achieve value around those needs. The role focuses on delivering business value to drive sales, improve efficiency, and improve customer satisfaction through producing quality products. Within their designated enterprise product line, Associate Product Managers work closely with teams of developers, designers, and business partners.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop deep knowledge of business processes for the Shop Management Shop Foundation domain.

  • Document requirements (functional and non-functional) via epics and user stories.

  • Drive prioritization of epics and user stories.

  • Assist the Product Manager in driving collaboration and cross-domain prioritization and sequencing of activities.

  • Manage stakeholder expectations to ensure scoping, backlog, and delivery align with product strategy.

  • Track KPIs to measure relevant business goals for the domain.

  • Represent business throughout the technology development process.

  • Track releases and communicate delivery roadmap.

  • Work with agile practitioners and engineering to improve the overall delivery lifecycle.

  • Planned and conducted user showcases and acceptance testing.

  • Work with agile practitioners to improve the overall delivery lifecycle.

Requirements:

  • A degree in computer science or engineering or equivalent years of experience is preferred.

  • 3+ years’ experience in scrum/agile development methodology.

  • 3+ years’ experience participating in product backlog prioritization and grooming/refinement.

  • 3+ years of product ownership and helping drive road mapping, planning, and delivery in an agile environment.

  • 3+ years’ experience designing processes and solutions for an omnichannel organization preferred.

  • 3+ years’ experience designing solutions for service based organizations such as the food industry, medical or hospitality is preferred.

  • Demonstrated experience with analytical and critical thinking skills.

  • Experience in the B2B and service business is a plus.

  • Excellent oral and written communication.

  • Analytical and problem-solving skills.
