Position Purpose:

Reporting to the Director of Digital Analytics, the Manager, Digital Analytics will lead a team of analysts to design, implement, and manage digital measurement strategies, data collection, and translating data into meaningful reports and actionable insights. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience with implementing and managing digital analytics solutions using platforms such as Adobe Analytics, Adobe CJA, Google Analytics, Amplitude, etc., developing reporting solutions, and generating insights that drive the e-commerce business and improve customer experience. The candidate will have a deep understanding of the analytics ecosystem combining web and product analytics, data strategy and tag management, AB testing, and experience analytics. The candidate will have proven experience in hiring, coaching, and mentoring junior analysts supporting analytics for multiple digital properties. This position will be part of a fast-paced team and environment, that is leading the digital transformation for a 100+ year old brand in the Automotive Retail space. This role will be a key player in establishing and scaling global digital analytics center of excellence (COE) at GPC.

Responsibilities:

  • Support the development and execution of the global digital analytics strategy to drive ecommerce growth, and improve customer experience

  • Work cross functionally across Analytics, Ops, UX, Product, Engineering and Marketing to maximize the usage and effectiveness of digital analytics data and reporting infrastructure

  • Lead implementation, configuration, integrations, management and administration of analytics tooling infrastructure (Adobe Analytics, Adobe CJA, Adobe Target, Experience analytics such as Glassbox, Hotjar)

  • Develop and maintain detailed reports and dashboards to visualize KPIs and trends to monitor business performance

  • Work with engineering teams to ensure proper data layer implementation and tag deployment

  • Maintain a governance structure around tag management, tracking standards, data layer protocols, metrics and reporting across the organization

  • Drive cross BU collaboration and communication to align on standards, data interpretations and goals

  • Lead, mentor and oversee team of analysts and external partners; ability to both lead a team and be hands-on

  • Equip all levels of users with the necessary data literacy and platform knowledge to effectively self-serve on reporting and insights

  • Provide operational support for Analytics platforms, ensuring data integrity and tool health

  • Stay up to date with the latest trends and best practices in web and product analytics, experimentation, reporting, and visualization

  • Other duties as assigned

Desired Qualifications & Experiences:

  • Bachelor’s degree in the quantitative or technical field (e.g., business analytics, data science, mathematics, computer science, etc.) or equivalent experience

  • 7+ years of experience with one or more Digital Analytics Platforms such as Adobe Analytics, Google Analytics, Amplitude

  • Experienced with translating business questions into analytics requirements, designing and implementing end to end solutions (preferably using Adobe Analytics/Adobe CJA)

  • Knowledge of JavaScript, HTML, jQuery, and JSON desired

  • Experience with one or more tag management solutions such as Adobe Launch, Ensighten, Tealium, GTM, Observepoint, etc.

  • Experience collaborating with engineering on designing, building, and deploying modern and integrated analytics stack

  • Experience in developing/maintaining analytics dashboards, generating insights from clickstream data

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to engage, influence, and inspire partners and stakeholders to drive collaboration and alignment globally

  • Self-motivated, self-starter, with excellent organizational and project management skills; organized with the ability to multi-task, prioritize, work quickly, and to tight deadlines
