Based in our modern workshop we require the services of quality skilledStoreperson to join its strong, growing and diverse team. 

Job tasks and responsibilities

• Receive and inspect incoming goods
• Manage consumables stocks as required 
• Inspect finished items according to job traveler and ensure a high quality standard
• Assist in pick packing and dispatch, ensuring only the highest quality product and packaging leaves the workshop.
• Soft seal and mark items if required
• Print labels and attach to goods
• Pick up and deliver items
• Monitor lifting operations up to 5 tonne
• Inspect lifting equipment daily and complete reports within schedule
• Perform company vehicle and forklift inspections & pre-starts
• Ensure a safe and clean workshop
• Assist in other areas and personnel as directed by the Workshop Manager

Skills and experience

• 2+ years experience in the mechanical manufacturing industry 
• Experience using ERP – Systems
• Manual drivers license essential
• Forklift ticket essential
• Rigging ticket would be advantageous 
• Able to operate electrical hand tools
• Organizational skills essential
• Being fast, efficient, reliable and productive
• Fast learning ability
• Excellent communication in English
• Valid working visa / Australia work rights essential
