Conveyor & Transmission is New Zealand’s leader in Lightweight conveyor belting and service, with a good offering of rubber belting and associated conveyor components and systems.

We are looking for a self-motivated and passionate Belt Cutter to join our team in East Tamaki.If you are technically or mechanically minded and just completed high school/college or a Uni graduate, we would also like to hear from you, full training will be provided.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Production of Conveyor Belts and general fabrication as required.
• Rubber lining and fabrication of rubber.
• Accurately measuring and cutting a variety of Conveyor Belts and Hoses.
• Checking inwards goods.
• Assisting On-site work as required
• Quality control of manufactured product
• Dispatch of goods as required
• Any other tasks as may be reasonably requested by the business

To be successful in this role you will need:

• Good mechanical aptitude and verbal communication.
• Being reliable, a team player, and physically fit is.
• A clean driver's licence is essential.
• Be conscious about Health & Safety.
• Have the ability to follow procedures, systems and solve problems.
