Position Purpose:

The Software Engineer – SRE, is responsible for setting up infrastructure in Google Cloud Platform working with a team of other SRE engineers building templates using Terraform for Infrastructure As Code. As a Software Engineer, you will be part of a dynamic team with engineers of all experience levels who help each other build and grow technical and leadership skills while creating, deploying, and supporting production applications. In addition, Software Engineers will aid in configuration, security, resilience, performance tuning and production monitoring. Software Engineers contribute to foundational code elements that can be reused as well as architectural diagrams and other product-related documentation.

Location:

  • This position is out of Dallas, TX.
  • We offer a Flexible Work Policy that permits eligible employees to work a hybrid remote schedule.

Desired Qualifications & Experiences: 

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, related field, or equivalent experience
  • 1 year of relevant work experience
  • Experience building applications on Google Cloud Platform
  • Experience with front end technology such as HTML, CSS, and JavaScript/Typescript frameworks, and/or an object-oriented programming language (preferably Java)
  • Experience with cloud computing techniques, CI/CD tools, and modern software design patterns
  • Experience with creating and executing unit, functional, destructive, and performance tests
  • Experience with modern debugging and root cause analysis techniques
  • Experience with Relational and NoSQL database technology
  • Experience in Agile environments
  • Experience with version control systems
