SUMMARY:
Under limited supervision, the Safety and Compliance Supervisor updates and maintains Safety Audit data information for all Motion locations and coordinates with branches in the event of re-audits and corrective action plans. This position also leads the coordination of the Company’s Driver Program, including but not limited to Motion internal driver qualification process.


JOB DUTIES:
• Reviews customer contracts to ensure compliance with insurance and safety
requirements.
• Works with insurance provider to obtain certificates of insurance (COI).
• Uploads certificates to customer compliance sites on demand/as needed and annually sorts, uploads, and distributes 10,000+ COIs to company reps and customers.
• Maintains and updates safety and OSHA information in third party compliance sites.
• Collaborates with GPC Risk Management Director and GPC Legal to provide answers to compliance requirement inquiries from Motion management.
• Completes contractor surveys and pre-qualification questionnaires based on
environmental, health, and safety data.
• Completes assessments and surveys on sustainability, human trafficking, and slavery assessments.
• Requests and uploads clearance letters and letters of good standing from Canadian provinces.
• Provides compliance support to Canada locations.
• Monitors DTR activities and contacts management on status of new drivers.
• Communicates ELD requirements to managers.
• Manages driver files through third party vendor.
• Monitors roadside inspections and driver corrective action plans.
• Reviews and assesses internal incident review process.
• Monitors random drug screens and escalates positive results to EHS Manager and HRM.
• Adjudicates background check results.
• Supervises Vehicle Claims Coordinator position.
• Performs other duties as assigned.


EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE
Typically requires a bachelor's degree and five (5) or more years of related experience or an equivalent combination.
