SUMMARY: The Senior FP&A Analyst supports Motion's Executive, Finance, and Operational Leadership by contributing to world class financial analyses and providing thought-provoking, value-adding insight into financial performance. Assists with the identification of operational improvement opportunities and drives decision-making by collecting, managing, analyzing, and disseminating financial information and analyses.
To succeed in this position, the Senior FP&A Analyst must have strong analytical, quantitative and investigative skills. This coupled with a desire to develop a deep understanding of business issues, a process-oriented mindset and a passion for learning.

JOB DUTIES:
· Ability to work autonomously and perform complex analysis to identify and evaluate key challenges and opportunities.
· Collaborate with Finance leadership and cross-functional teams to improve the capital expenditure process to support capital investment requests
· Serve as a business partner in conducting return on investment analyses to inform capital investment decisions.
· Design financial models & reports and identify key performance indicators to drive value in the business
· Assist in the preparation, maintenance, and presentation of budgeting and forecasting for capital spend.
· Identifies and drives process improvements, including the creation of standard and ad-hoc reports, tools, and dashboards.
· Develop creative solutions to problems and help drive standardization, automation, and continuous process improvement
· Assist with ad hoc financial requests and analyses to support the broader Finance and Operations objectives.

EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE:
· Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field required.
· Minimum of five (5) years of experience in Finance, Accounting, or Business Analysis/Planning and experience with data modeling, analysis, and data visualization tools.
· Experience with budgeting, forecasting, and financial modeling strongly preferred.

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, ABILITIES:
· Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
· Proficient in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and Power BI or similar analytical tool.
· Experience with PeopleSoft General Ledger or similar ERP is a plus.
· Strong communication skills to effectively convey complex financial concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences.
· Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
· Collaborative team player with the ability to build relationships across departments and levels.
