Job Description
SUMMARY:
The Sr eCommerce Support Analyst works to satisfy all levels of customer issues within existing ecommerce technology. This role identifies the root cause of customer issues, sends the defect information to IT, and translates user testing and customer support feedback into feature/function requirements.
JOB DUTIES
- Supports website day-to-day activities with potential and existing eCommerce customers who may have issues with the online experience.
- Supports Motion employees as they register and onboard website Customers.
- Analyzes complex potential problems and breaks them down to communicate with the IT department.
- Provides support to software developers in understanding software enhancements and test cases.
- Recommends improvements to strategy, application usage, or process applying knowledge of the business processes in various functional areas.
- Provides process documentation and may mentor less experienced employees
- Performs other duties as assigned.
EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE
Typically requires a bachelor's degree and three (3) to five (5) years of experience or and equivalent combination.
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, ABILITIES
- Good customer service and communication skills
- Industry and customer support experience preferred
- Proficient in Microsoft Office suite
- Ability to mediate and resolve conflict
- Knowledge of eCommerce portals and supporting back end systems
