Job Description

SUMMARY:

Under close supervision the IT Business Analyst I develop the ability to collect, clarify, analyze, and translate business requirements into documentation and functional requirements from which solutions are developed. This role serves as a liaison between business operations and information systems for requirements, design, development, testing, implementation, and application support.

You must be eligible to work in the US without Visa Sponsorship.

JOB DUTIES

  • Follows processes as outlined with direct supervision.

  • Collaborates with project sponsors and project managers to determine project scope and vision and identify project stakeholders for smaller projects.

  • Translates stakeholder requirements into functional requirements in a clear manner that is comprehensible to technical members of the project team.

  • Defines test approach, develops test cases, and performs software tests before implementation to confirm solutions meet business needs and quality.

  • Supports the development of end-user documentation and training materials as required for new functionality and processes.

  • Recommends improvements to strategy, application usage, or process applying knowledge of the business processes in various functional areas.

  • Performs other duties as assigned.

EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE

Typically requires a bachelor's degree and zero (0) to two (2) years of related experience or an equivalent combination.

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, ABILITIES

  • Written and verbal communication skills with the ability to articulate information verbally, visually, and in written format across all levels of the company.

  • Developing knowledge of Agile/Scrum methodology.

  • Solid technical aptitude.

  • Ability to learn appropriate networks, products, and protocols.

  • Communication skills.
