Email Marketing Specialist
Job Description:
The Email Marketing Specialist will have expertise in developing, executing, and optimizing targeted email campaigns with a strong focus on nurturing specific customer journeys. This role requires a deep understanding of lead nurturing, list segmentation, retargeting strategies, and best practices in email marketing automation to engage and convert prospects at various touchpoints. The ideal candidate will also have experience with paid media campaigns.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design, implement, and manage email marketing campaigns that align with customer journey stages and business objectives.
- Develop and execute lead nurturing strategies through drip campaigns, segmentation, and personalized content to increase engagement and conversion rates.
- Create, test, and optimize email templates, subject lines, and messaging to maximize open rates, click-through rates, and overall campaign performance.
- Utilize retargeting and re-engagement tactics to reconnect with customers and increase retention.
- Work closely with content and design teams to ensure email campaigns are aligned with broader marketing initiatives and brand guidelines.
- Monitor, analyze, and report on email campaign metrics, providing actionable insights and recommendations for continuous improvement.
- Maintain and grow the email subscriber database by ensuring compliance with industry regulations and best practices.
- Troubleshoot and resolve any email deliverability issues.
- Stay current with the latest email marketing trends, tools, and technologies.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, or related field preferred.
- Proven experience (3+ years) in email marketing.
- Proficient in popular email marketing platforms (e.g., Mailchimp, HubSpot, Klaviyo, Salesforce Marketing Cloud).
- Familiarity with CRM systems and integration with email marketing tools (e.g., Dynamics 365, Salesforce).
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and generate insights.
- Excellent written communication and copywriting skills.
- Knowledge of email marketing best practices, compliance standards, and deliverability optimization.
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines.
- Detail-oriented with a focus on continuous improvement and innovation.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with marketing automation platforms.
- Basic understanding of HTML/CSS for email template customization.
