Branch Operations Support Intern - Bilingual

JOB DUTIES

  • Works with the Branch Operations Support team in translating training documentation and recording training videos
  • Translate content within documents, web pages, and software
  • Provide quality assurance for the translation process
  • Work with a range of media and translation software
  • Resolve issues associated with translation, localization, and culture
  • Implement feedback and changes whenever possible
  • Assist with inbound calls and provide a high level of customer service with internal and external customers

EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE

Typically requires an undergraduate student working towards a bachelor's degree in their junior or senior year of study with an interest in business/supply chain.

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, ABILITIES

  • Must be fluent (close to native) in Spanish or French or both.
    • For Spanish: Mexican Spanish is preferable but not required
    • For French: Canadian French is preferable but not required
  • Ability to commit to a 10-12 Week summer program
  • Familiarity with localization guidelines and standards
  • Ability to convert written materials into a second language (Spanish, French or both)
  • Excellent translation, writing, and communication skills (spoken and written)
  • Strong phone and verbal communication skills along with active listening
  • Ability to work under tight deadlines
  • Proficiency in MS Office Suite
  • Desire to learn
