Job Description
SUMMARY:
The Payroll Administrator is committed to providing the required data and processes to ensure accurate payroll for each employee.
JOB DUTIES
- Requests, reviews, and coordinates changes to employees' status made by others outside of the Department.
- Review changes for completeness and accuracy
- Researches any tax implications of employee changes, and request changes.
- Calculates and reviews payments based on changes to employees such as final termination payments.
- Runs reports, exports info to excel for completion and formatting.
- Coordinates employee changes with changes in the Payroll system.
- Verifies and balances payments.
- Trains employees to use the Kronos and InMotion Commission systems and assists with any questions.
- Assists employees on understanding their payments.
- Ensures employee information is confidential.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
- Reviews and approves timecards, commissions, bonuses, state and local payroll taxes, garnishments, and paid leave balances.
EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE
- Typically requires a high School diploma or GED and three (3) or more years of related experience or an equivalent combination.
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, ABILITIES
- Knowledge of Motion Industries' payment policies.
- Strong interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work as a team member.
- Ability to multitask, manage time well, and meet deadlines.
- Microsoft Excel and Word proficiency.
- Required to work assigned office hours and be on time for work.
- Strong organizational and detail oriented skills.
- Bilingual proficiency in both English and Spanish
