Full body:

We are currently seeking a skilled Hydraulic Technician to join our team based in Perth.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Diagnose, repair, and maintain hydraulic systems and components, with a focus on gas turbine valves.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to hydraulic systems, ensuring optimal performance and reliability.
  • Conduct inspections and testing to verify system functionality and compliance with safety and quality standards.
  • Perform routine maintenance and calibration of hydraulic equipment to extend system lifespan and prevent downtime.
  • Collaborate with engineers and other technicians to implement solutions and improve system performance.
  • Maintain accurate records of repairs, maintenance activities, and parts usage.
  • Ensure all work adheres to company policies, safety regulations, and industry standards.

Qualifications and Skills:

  • Fitter and Turner/Machinist Background working to tight tolerances in machining components would be prefered.
  • Hydraulics experience working with hydraulic systems, preferably in the industrial sectors.
  • Familiarity with hydraulic schematics, diagrams, and diagnostic tools.
  • Valid driver's license
  • Trade Certificate Cert IV fluid Power or further Hydraulics training advantageous.
  • Exceptional troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong attention to detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality work.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
  • A proactive approach to safety and compliance in all tasks.
