Fleet Logistics Manager - Store
Overview
We are seeking a highly organized and analytical Fleet Logistics Manager to oversee our sales, and light vehicle delivery fleet operations. This role will focus on optimizing fleet performance, driving cost efficiencies, and collaborating with internal and external stakeholders to ensure seamless operations in our store based light vehicle fleet. The ideal candidate will possess excellent time management, strong communication skills, and an analytical mindset to address complex challenges.
Key Responsibilities
- Collaborate with External Management Company: Work closely with our third-party management company (Wheels) to ensure smooth and efficient fleet operations, aligning strategies and resolving operational issues promptly.
- Partner with Field Leadership: Collaborate with field leadership (MD) to quickly address and resolve field-centric concerns, ensuring operational continuity and high service levels.
- Review and Optimize Fleet Efficiency: Analyze fleet performance metrics and vehicle allotments to identify opportunities for improvement and implement strategies to enhance efficiency.
- Oversee Fleet Optimization Initiatives: Lead and facilitate initiatives aimed at optimizing fleet operations vehicle allotments, and utilization.
- Drive Profitability: Implement structural efficiencies to improve cost per mile, reduce operational costs and enhance overall profitability of fleet operations.
Qualifications
- Experience: Proven experience in fleet management or a related field, with a track record of driving operational efficiencies and cost savings.
Skills:
- Excellent Time Management: Ability to prioritize tasks, meet deadlines, and manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent Communication Skills: Strong verbal and written communication skills to effectively collaborate with internal teams, external partners, and stakeholders.
- Analytical Mindset: Proficiency in analyzing data, identifying trends, and making data-driven decisions to optimize fleet performance.
- Education: Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in logistics, supply chain management, business administration, or a related field preferred.
- Technical Skills: Familiarity with fleet management software, data analysis tools, and Microsoft Office Suite.
