Position Purpose:

This role provides a unique opportunity for a digital professional to play a critical role in helping to grow the global digital business within the Genuine Parts Company (GPC).  Based in Atlanta, this person will be a member of the Digital Channel Management team and will play a key role in the Digital Center of Excellence.  

As a Senior Specialist, this role will support driving and exceeding the performance metrics for B2B pro digital eCommerce and related business goals for key GPC digital platforms such as ProLink.com and other Pro/B2B digital experiences. The position will collaborate with cross-functional partners, subject matter experts, product managers, field leaders, customers and vendor partners to establish business needs and successfully launch new product/functionality/optimizations. 

Responsibilities

  • Driving and exceeding the performance metrics for B2B pro digital eCommerce and related business goals
  • Analyze business performance, drive actions and work on levers to improve the same. This includes driving sales by: New customer acquisition/adoption, Site optimization, and working on site-wide enhancements that drive increased stickiness, usage and adoption
  • Helps build Pro Digital plans to drive top line growth, eSales penetration, digital adoption and long-term value (roadmap development, deployment and measurement)
  • Works closely with Product for driving launch and adoption of new features/tools/etc., directing efforts of analytics, marketing, field ops, etc.
  • Partner with 3rd party platforms and ensure integrations are optimized and driving sales and a seamless customer experience.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional eCommerce team members including Product, UX, design, Analytics, IT, BAs, QA, operations, and vendors to develop eCommerce requirements.
  • Analyze issues related to changing trends, behaviors, or performance in eCommerce to identify root causes and determine solutions.
  • Identify, define, and document processes and procedures to improve operational efficiency of the eCommerce team.
  • Stay current on the competitive landscape and digital innovations in the eCommerce space.
  • Develop expertise in GPC’s brands, product lines, customers, and industries within the eCommerce domain.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Location:

  • GPC has two work locations to choose from, Duluth or Atlanta office.
  • We offer a Flexible Work Policy that permits eligible employees to work a hybrid remote schedule.

Desired Qualifications & Experiences: 

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing or other equivalent work experience.
  • 2 (3+ preferred) years of relevant digital & eCommerce experience with 2+ years B2B eCommerce. Automotive or Industrial, B2B eCommerce & industry experience is preferred; however, exceptions may be considered
  • Superior problem-solving skills, prioritization, project management, multitasking, focus on detail and comfortable taking ownership of assigned tasks
  • Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to facilitate and work internally across all teams as well as externally with partners and vendors
  • Active listening, superior written and oral communication skills
  • Effective verbal and written communication skills for interaction with internal stakeholders, vendors, senior management and staff
  • Experience with Digital Analytics and/or Business Intelligence Reporting tools (Google/Adobe Analytics, PowerBI) and ability to analyze and gather insights from large data sets
