Job Summary

The Sr. Manager, HR Analytics is responsible for delivering scalable data and analytics to People and Business Leaders using advanced analytics and visualization tools and products. This role will use a customer-focused product design to deliver automated insights and consult with data storytelling to drive data-based decisions and actions.  This role will elevate adoption of analytics products by matching analytics products, including reports, dashboards, scorecards and alerts to meet customer needs and preferences.

Reporting to the Sr. Director, People Analytics, the role will play a team lead role to advance the development of analytics using Prism and the full suite of Workday analytics capabilities.

Responsibilities

  • Design end-to-end analytics delivery strategy using Workday dashboards, KPI scorecards, automated alerts and presentations using Prism data.
  • Translate People and Business Leader requirements into analytics solutions by understanding people and business strategy and priorities.
  • Drive analytics data strategy by identifying and prioritizing non-Workday to supplement Workday, including employee survey and employee relations data.
  • Drive data governance requirements by identifying data gaps to ensure accurate data and analytics.
  • Serve as mentor and share knowledge to help both direct and extended teams fully leverage Workday analytics capabilities.
  • Stay abreast of people analytic trends, standards, and unique global environments of each business unit.
  • Use interpersonal skills to partner with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Support an insights culture around People data and KPIs.
  • Collaborate with HRIS, local IT, vendors, etc. on gathering requirements and identifying solutions.
  • Assist with end-to-end data and analytics processes, including cleansing and wrangling structured and unstructured data, designing, and building analytics and models, extracting insights and findings, visualizing outputs, and communicating outcomes to the client and other stakeholders.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree required; master’s degree in business administration, analytics, or similar field preferred, advanced degree and/or certifications a plus.
  • Professional with at least 10 years of work experience; specific work experience of at least seven years in people analytics is preferred
  • Advanced knowledge and expertise using Workday analytics and Workday Prism required.
  • Expertise in PowerPoint, Excel and visualization tools like Tableau or PowerBI.
  • Excellent communication, writing, and organizational skills.
  • Hands-on approach to data and system issues with a keen analytical sense and process orientation with the ability to translate complex, strategic topics into specific, understandable goals, tactics, action plans and deliverables.
  • Able to work independently and must have the ability to identify and drive process improvements to impact change. Agile with the ability to quickly grasp facts, processes and procedures in a changing environment.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Graduate Degree in Human Resources, Organizational Management, Industrial/Organizational Psychology, or relevant discipline
  • Advanced Workday experience

Physical Demands / Working Environment

  • Principal duties of this job are performed primarily in an office environment, with occasional walking between work sites.
  • Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
