Job Summary

The Account Executive (IAE) is tasked with driving sales growth through proactive outbound and inbound sales calls. This role involves building and nurturing relationships with assigned NAPA accounts, presenting promotions and programs, and delivering product education to enhance customer engagement and satisfaction.

Responsibilities

The following section contains the primary responsibilities for this position. The job holder is responsible for performing any other duties assigned by management.

·Outbound Sales Engagement: Produce 50+ proactive daily outbound calls to assigned accounts across multiple locations to generate and enhance sales opportunities.

·Relationship Development: Build and maintain strong relationships with assigned accounts through consistent and effective communication to promote NAPA products and services.

·Customer Insight: Gain a deep understanding of customer needs and collaborate with local Distribution Center Sales Teams to provide valuable insights on customer demands.

·Order Processing: Work with NAPA Customer Support Representatives on order entry, tracking, purchase order confirmation, and necessary billing adjustments.

·Opportunity Identification: Identify potential areas for growth and advise management accordingly.

·Product Expertise: Develop and maintain a thorough knowledge of product offerings, educational programs, warranties, and rebates.

·Team Communication: Maintain regular communication with managers, vendors, and colleagues to discuss potential sales leads and resolve customer issues promptly.

·Sales Achievement: Consistently meet or exceed established sales quotas and activity benchmarks.

·Account Monitoring: Conduct periodic reviews of assigned accounts to keep management informed of key progress indicators.

·All other duties as assigned by the Senior Sales Director.

Qualifications

·Sales Experience: At least two years of sales experience preferred.

·Education: A high school diploma is required; a college degree is preferred but not essential.

·Business Development Proficiency: Demonstrated success in business development using core sales tools such as Microsoft Office (especially Outlook and Excel).

·CRM Expertise: Experience with CRM platforms like Salesforce.

·Reliability and Organization: Proven reliability, organizational skills, attention to detail, and a strong focus, with an ability to collaborate effectively.

·Communication Skills: Excellent professional communication skills, both written and verbal, including presentation capabilities. Able to communicate clearly, concisely, and effectively with coworkers, stores, management, and manufacturers.

·Interpersonal Skills: Ability to build and maintain effective working relationships with coworkers, suppliers, and store personnel.

·Positive Attitude: A positive attitude with the ability to handle objections and influence others.

·Rapport Building: Strong ability to develop rapport and maintain strong working relationships.

This job is typically performed in an office environment under usual working conditions.
