Job Description
Job Summary
The Compliance & Regulatory Reporting Analyst plays a critical role in ensuring that the organization adheres to federal, state, and local employment regulations, as well as internal policies and procedures. This role involves gathering, analyzing, and reporting HR data, identifying compliance risks, and working with various stakeholders to implement corrective actions. The analyst will also prepare and submit required regulatory reports and ensure that all HR practices align with current legal requirements.
Responsibilities
Regulatory Compliance
- Ensure HR compliance with relevant regulations, including FLSA, ADA, FMLA, EEO, CA pay transparency and other employment laws.
- Work closely with HR, legal, and compliance teams to align on regulatory requirements and reporting needs.
- Conduct regular poster audit to ensure ongoing compliance.
- Participate in Sox audit process by investigating, tracking, and responding to audit requests.
Reporting and Analysis
- Prepare, analyze, and submit required reports to regulatory bodies (e.g., EEO-1, VETS-4212, ACA reporting).
- Analyze People Operations data, metrics, and KPIs to identify trends, patterns, and insights that can inform strategies and decisions.
- Design and prepare dashboards and other data visualizations with end-user in mind ensuring content is business driven, consumable, and actionable.

Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in human resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
- 3-5 years of experience in HR compliance, data reporting, or a related field.
- Proficiency in HRIS, MS Excel, and other data analysis tools.
- Familiarity with regulatory reporting platforms.
- Strong understanding of employment laws, regulations, and HR compliance best practices.
- Ability to analyze complex data sets and provide actionable insights.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to convey complex information clearly to various stakeholders.
- High level of accuracy and attention to detail in all aspects of work.
Preferred Qualifications
- A master’s degree or relevant certifications (e.g., SHRM-CP, PHR) is preferred.
- Experience with data visualization tools (Power BI, Tableau) is preferred.
