Job Summary

The Director of Store Support is a key leader responsible for developing management tools and resources, for field leaders, that drive store profitability. This senior role analyzes, interprets and reports store P&L metrics in order to identify opportunities for field leadership to execute on.

Responsibilities

Strategic Leadership & Vision

  • Develop management tools and resources, to be used by Division Store VPs, Market Managers and Store Managers, to drive store efficiency, productivity and profitability.
  • Track and monitor qualitative and quantitative effectiveness of management tools and consistently stive for continuous improvement.
  • Work collaboratively to incorporate management tools and resources into the Operating Blueprint.

Metrics-Driven Performance Management

  • Measure and report key financial metrics, in conjunction with FPA team to field leadership.
  • Develop rule-based guidelines for assignment of labor, based on clear financial and operational criteria.

Innovation & Technology Enablement

  • Drive the adoption of technology-enabled solutions, including digital platforms, and data analytics, to enhance efficiency and decision-making.
  • Champion innovation by identifying opportunities to integrate sustainability and emerging trends into store performance practices.

Continuous Improvement & Team Leadership

  • Foster a culture of continuous improvement by leveraging market intelligence, data analytics, and industry best practices to optimize store performance.
  • Promote collaboration, workload balancing, and resource allocation to ensure the team operates effectively and efficiently.

Financial Accountability

  • Analyzes and interprets store profit and loss statements and inventory reports to identify and implement strategies to improve operation performance.
  • Produces accurate and timely financial reports and projections in conjunction with FPA and Field Leadership.
  • Analyze operational metrics and implement strategies to improve efficiency, reduce costs, and drive profitability across all Company Owned Store locations.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Operations Management, or related field.
  • Data Driven: Proven ability to analyze data, develop strategies, and deliver results in a fast-paced environment.
  • Operational Excellence:  Ensures consistent execution of operational standards to maximize store performance and efficiency.
  • Financial & Business Acumen:  Manages budgets and operational metrics to achieve profitability and sustain growth.
  • Proficiency in operational tools, inventory management systems, and reporting software.
  • 7+ years of financial P&L management experience, ideally in a multi-unit operating environment.

Physical Demands / Working Environment

  • Must be able to work in a corporate office setting.
  • Domestic and international travel estimated 20% of the time.
