Job Description

• Duties include inspection, diagnosis, and replacement of tires and wheels and accessories for cars and light trucks
• Perform fluid exchanges, general inspections and maintenance, brake inspection, battery, belts, hoses, filters
• Perform a variety of other duties: replacing wiper blades, bulbs, performing test drives
• Focus on building customer relationships and their current and future needs
• Communicate vehicle problems and proposed solutions to customer and/or supervisor
• Keep a clean and safe working environment

Job Requirements: 

• Conduct diagnostic procedures to determine the sources of customers’ problems and provide accurate repair recommendations
• Perform all aspects of automotive maintenance. Tasks including computer resets and procedures, Oil Change reminder resets, Tire Pressure System resets
• Maintain a working knowledge of current industry best practices in automotive repair by attending schooling and seminars
• Conduct necessary repairs and take vehicles for test drives
• Maintain legible and accurate paperwork for both the customer and for our records
• Perform all aspects of automotive maintenance and repair. 
• Clean and maintain the work environment to ensure equipment longevity and workplace safety
• Able to create estimates and advise customers of repairs/maintenance needed
• Able to use tablet for vehicle inspections
• Able to use computer to look up service specifications and service procedures

Qualifications:

• Automotive repair experience in a professional shop environment is preferred
• Strong verbal communication skills
• Strong customer service skills
• Follow company procedures and protocol
• Knowledge of diagnostic tools and equipment
• Knowledge of TPMS systems and reset procedures
• $14.00 - $16.00 per hour based on experience
