We are looking for an energetic, customer oriented service advisor to join our team. We are Preferred Automotive Specialists- a truly unique auto repair business located on Oxford Avenue in NE Philadelphia. We specialize in servicing large vehicle fleets for some of the largest businesses and institutions in Philadelphia, while providing personal, home spun service to our local private customer in our neighborhood. This job is ideal for someone with dealership experience that is tired of the long hours and thankless grind that come from working in that type of environment. We are a full service shop, and source our own parts, so a bit of parts experience/ knowledge is helpful.
Good customer service skills
Capable of listening to customers needs and presenting the technician's recommendations to the customer
A great attitude: A positive, supportive team player
Basic knowledge of the auto industry, parts sourcing, sales skills.
Strong Work Ethic with emphasis on attendance and punctuality.
A desire to build a career and stay in one place - which you will want to do once you are with us.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Assist in customer service
Scheduling appointments and generating estimates
Assist with incoming or outgoing phone calls as appropriate
Effectively communicate with internal and external customers
Follow up with progress and/or follow up calls and/or emails
Document repair and maintenance changes on the repair order in the approved manner
Adhere to parts ordering, write up, delivery and follow-up processes
Establish and maintain strong positive working relationships and loyalty with customers to encourage repeat and referral business allowing for long-term clientele
Must be able to work full time 8-5:30 weekdays with some Saturdays.
Salary Commensurate with experience.
