Job Description
The Global Workday HR Product Manager works with key partners and stakeholders to understand business needs, consulting on process and technology design, developing requirements, and bringing those requirements to life through system configuration activities.
The individual in this role will be both technically savvy and adept at managing relationships with multiple stakeholders throughout the organization, including HR Technology, and internal global Communities of Expertise (COE) to effectively execute the global Workday strategy.
As part of the Global Workday Configuration and Operations team, this role is responsible for upholding Workday system and process integrity and integrating with other functions to optimally leverage Workday capabilities and effectively enable business processes.
Responsibilities
Define and shape the business process architecture within your defined areas of responsibility.
Act as the primary authority on configurations within your defined area(s) of responsibility, combining expert-level proficiency in the systems and solutions with an understanding of the functional HR processes.
Communicate clearly and collaborate with Stakeholders to turn broad requirements into recommended solutions and deliverables.
Support feature releases and issue resolution within a defined area(s) of responsibility, working with business users, IT, vendors, and other support teams to define scope, prioritize, plan, and implement system changes and enhancements.
Document requirements and technical specifications to support our solution landscape and HR organizational needs for systems implementation, upgrades, and process improvements.
Develop project plans using data gathered, constraints, and probable consequences. Ensure adherence to project schedule and other specifications.
Manage project deliverables and milestones and specified project tasks.
Identify test scenarios, develop test scripts, and provide essential support in Systems Integration Testing (SIT)
Work directly with stakeholders to identify, analyze, design, test, and implement new solutions or improvements to existing solutions.
Document business requirements and conduct system configuration functionality.
Manage the Workday configuration strategy in partnership with the Global HR Workday Director.
Stay informed of the Workday roadmap and provide inputs into GPC’s Workday roadmap.
Be an active participant in the Workday Community and advocate for GPC business needs.
Requirements
Minimum 2 to 5 years’ configuration experience in one or more Workday modules: HCM, Compensation, Benefits, Absence, Payroll and/or Talent & Recruiting.
Functional expertise in one or more of these HR topic areas: HCM, Compensation, Benefits, Absence, Payroll and/or Talent & Recruiting.
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
Prioritizes and manages multiple initiatives, responding with a sense of urgency to most urgent needs.
Exchanges information with appropriate people to complete work, follows through on tasks and commitments and keeps information confidential, as warranted.
Participates as part of a team, becoming familiar with the various working styles of others and their roles on the team; demonstrates enthusiasm and commitment to the goals and objectives of the team.
Accepts and adapts to change as directed, understands change is constant and necessary to improve individual and team performance / growth.
Ability to recognize personal skills, abilities, limitations, and strengths, taking appropriate action to pursue developmental activities.
Demonstrates knowledge about the technology and participates in training and development initiatives to keep abreast of current trends.
Ability to influence work efforts of others, manage own time and team’s time and workload.
Location: Krakow (2 days from Office)
