Job Description

Supervises and coordinates activities of workers engaged in receiving, transporting, stacking, order filling, shipping, and maintaining stock records in warehouse. Supervises labeling and packing products. 

Responsibilities

• Communicate with employees to make certain all shipping schedules remain top priority
• Supervise the daily receiving, storing and dispersing of stockroom supplies
• Supervise other warehouse personnel
• Supervises shipping/receiving schedule
• Conducts monthly safety audits

Qualifications

• Requires completion of a high school diploma, general education degree (GED) or equivalent combination of experience and education
• 3-5 years’ experience managing a warehouse environment
• Must be able to effectively supervisor 30 plus employees
• Ability to lift/carry by hand freight weighing up to 75 pounds several times a week
• Able to push/pull up to 300 lbs using mechanical aids, such as hand trucks, barrel dollies, hydraulic lifts, etc
• Ability to sit or stand for extended periods of time, bend, twist or squat
