Automotive Shop Assistant / Porter – Full-Time

Location: 5312 Phoenix Ave, NE

Albuquerque, NM 87110

Pay: $16–$19/hr (DOE)

Schedule: Monday–Friday 8-5:30 rotating Saturdays 8-5

About the Role: 

We’re a fast-paced, full-service auto shop seeking a reliable, hardworking Shop Assistant/Porter to help keep operations running smoothly. This is a hands-on position for someone who doesn’t mind staying busy and jumping in wherever needed.

Responsibilities:

- Clean and maintain shop, bays, and customer areas

- Shuttle customers to/from home or work (company vehicle provided)

- Pick up parts and run local errands

- Assist with vehicle check-in and basic intake

- Help with customer check-out and general front desk support

- Move and organize vehicles on the lot

- Support technicians and advisors with day-to-day tasks

- Handle miscellaneous duties as needed

Requirements:

- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record

- Comfortable driving a variety of vehicles

- Reliable, punctual, and able to follow directions

- Able to work on your feet and lift up to 50 lbs

- Strong work ethic and positive attitude

- Basic customer service skills
