Job Summary

The Special Projects ManagerContinuous Improvement will lead specific projects associated with driving store operations efficiency. The Special Projects Manager shall construct cross functional teams to determine the most effective path forward, by applying step by step process mapping techniques, and mapping key dependencies, risks and synergies. This role shall lead project teams and deliver defined business outcomes.

Responsibilities

  • Design project charter, key milestones, expectations and accountabilities.

  • Work cross functionally oascertain project team requirements.

  • Set expectations and drive accountability to key deliverables.

  • Follow a consistent and methodical project path in conjunction with the Operating Model team.

  • Set key performance metrics.

  • Monitor and against key performance metrics.

  • Propose recommendations for project adoption, introduction into Blue Print operating model.

  • Lead Proof Of Concepts.

  • Analyze opportunities for improvement from proof of concept work. 

  • Test hypothesis through proof of concept work.

Qualifications

  • Trained in six sigma process methodologies; including the five steps of DMAIC (define, measure, analyze, improve and control).

  • Lean six sigma certification.

  • 2+yearsof multi-site storeoperations process experience preferred.

  • ExperiencedinProject Management.

  • Demonstrated ability to Working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite

  • Excellentinterpersonal,communication,andfacilitationskills.
