HEALTH & WELFARE BENEFITS (Click to expand)
GPC’s Health and Welfare Benefits are designed to keep eligible employees healthy, secure and protected.
GPC provides two medical plan options – the Health Savings Plan and the Traditional Health Plan. Both plans offer in-network and out-of-network coverage to obtain quality care, in-network preventive care services that are covered at 100%, as well as a prescription drug benefits.
The Health Savings Plan also offers the option to open a Health Savings Account (HSA), which can be used to save for current or future health care expenses.
With the two medical plan options, eligible employees have the ability to choose the coverage that works best for them, with a majority of the cost for the Medical Plan being covered by GPC.
The GPC Dental Plan provides preventive and routine care, restorative care and orthodontia benefits. Most of the cost for the Dental Plan is covered by GPC.
The GPC Vision Plan provides benefits for vision exams, eyeglass frames, lenses, as well as discounts for other vision services.
Flexible Spending Accounts
GPC offers three types of FSAs which help save money by setting aside pre-tax dollars for anticipated health care and dependent care expenses.
Life and AD&D Insurance
GPC provides Life and Accidental Death & Dismemberment (AD&D) for eligible employees and their families, to help provide financial security and protection, in the event of a death or serious injury.
GPC offers Short-Term and Long-Term Disability Plans, at no cost to eligible employees, to provide financial protection for absences from work as a result of a personal illness, injury, disease or pregnancy.

GPC’s Retirement Plan and 401(k) Savings Plan, provide further investment in your future for your financial well-being.
GPC 401(k) Savings Plan
The GPC 401(k) Savings Plan allows employees to work in partnership with GPC for building future financial security to meet their retirement goals. By providing flexibility and personal control over contributions and investments, the GPC 401(k) Savings Plan allows employees to take an active role in planning and saving for retirement.
Eligible employees may contribute 1% to 50% of their compensation on a pre-tax basis, up to the annual maximum deferral allowed according to the IRS regulations. In addition, GPC provides a company match of 100% on the dollar up to the first 5% pay employees contribute to the Plan.

GPC provides a variety of Paid Time Off benefits that give eligible employees time to connect with what’s important to them. These include vacation, personal days, holidays, bereavement leave and jury duty.

Employee Stock Purchase Plan
The Employee Stock Purchase Plan makes it easy for employees to become a GPC shareholder—and share in the Company’s potential growth and profitability.
GPC offers tuition reimbursement to support eligible employees in their professional development. The funds can be used to help cover the cost of qualified expenses that have been approved by the Company.
GPC offers access to negotiated discounts from national retailers on a wide variety of products – from automobiles and electronics, to wireless phone providers and more.

Eligibility for participation in GPC benefit plans and programs is based upon several factors including employee classification and length of service with the Company. In addition, based upon employee classification, eligible dependents may also be enrolled in select benefit plans.
