Hydraulic Technical Support Specialist

Hydraulic Supply Company (HSC), a division of Motion, is seeking a Hydraulic Technical Support Specialist based in West Palm Beach, FL to work with our sales and engineering teams. This is an entry level opportunity for a motivated and talented candidate to grow with a great team and a very successful company. This is not an IT role.

Responsibilities

• Answer technical questions about fluid power from internal and external customers
• Design basic hydraulic systems to meet customer requirements
• Cross-over components from other manufacturers to current supplier part numbers
• Interface with engineering, build shop, customer service, and sales teams

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent required
• Fluid power knowledge/experience required
• Work will mostly consist of sitting in front of a computer on the telephone
• Ability to read and understand engineering drawings
• Attention to detail
• Familiarity with common office software applications (Outlook, Word, etc.)
• CAD experience a plus
• Willingness to learn and develop new skills as required
