Job Description
The IT Project Manager plans, organizes and implements company projects. The main duties include coordinating production releases and roll-outs, delegating tasks to the necessary employees and presenting on projects’ progress and results.
JOB DUTIES
• Sets project goals and coming up with plans to meet those goals.
• Maintains project timeframes, budgeting estimates and status reports.
• Manages resources for projects, such as computer equipment and employees.
• Coordinates project team members and developing schedules and individual responsibilities.
• Implements IT strategies that deliver projects on schedule and within budget.
• Uses project management tools to track project performance and schedule adherence.
• Conducts risk assessments for projects.
• Organizes meetings to discuss project goals and progress.
• Performs other duties as assigned
EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE
Typically requires a bachelor's degree and at least (5) years of experience in information technology and/or project management.
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, ABILITIES
• Excellent listening, written, and verbal communication skills
• Ability to manage multiple responsibilities and projects
• Demonstrated learning agility – ability to pick up new things quickly & desire to learn
