Production Assembly Technician

ASSEMBLY TECHNICIAN

Motion Ai, a division of Motion Industries, is a leading distributor of industrial automation products and services. We are seeking someone as an entry level Assembly Technician to assemble small to medium electrical/mechanical/pneumatic assemblies.

Hours are 7:00AM to 3:30 PM Monday through Friday.

Pay Starts at $20

Responsibilities

• Use of hand tools (ratchets, wrenches, pliers, screwdrivers) and small hand tools (drills, power screwdrivers) to build assemblies.
• Must be able read and interpret blueprints and follow work instruction to complete assembly.
• Focus on safe working practices.
• Maintain a clean work area applying Lean 5S concepts.
• Engage in process improvements and enhancements.
• Reliable attendance and punctuality.
• Must be able to lift 25lbs regularly, 50lbs sometimes and 70lbs with help occasionally.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or Equivalent
• Display a positive attitude
• Prefer prior assembly experience with electro-mechanical assembly experience
• Ability to work independently and solve minor problems
• Ability to adapt to a changing environment and workload
• Ability to work with Windows operating system
