Summary Job Description
Key financial role that has high exposure to executive management. This person needs to bring a great deal of energy and enthusiasm to a team dynamic that excels at delivering a quality product on a timely basis, which allows executive management to make key financial decisions. This role reports to the Manager – Reporting
Primary Duties/Responsibilities
- Prepares monthly, quarterly, and annual reports and provides analysis
- Evaluates trends, identifies, and investigates unusual or unexpected variances
- Prepares standard management reporting and ad hoc reporting and analysis
- Prepares the consolidated financial statements
- Prepares segment reporting and related SEC footnote disclosures
- Drives continuous improvement to reporting processes
- Promotes teamwork between operational groups and departments
- Partners with internal and external auditors in the verification of company-wide financial controls and reporting requirements
- Develops and continually improves analytical capabilities, ability to work through complex business issues, and provide actionable reporting to meet financial and strategic commitments
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor degree in Accounting or Finance
- 3-5 years of related experience
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (with a strong focus on Excel)
- Able to successfully manage and prioritize multiple workflows in a fast-paced environment
- Firm understanding of financial statements
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
- Detail oriented and well organized
- Excellent oral/written communication skills
- Self-motivated and adaptable to changing business priorities
- Adaptable and responsive to finance leaders
- Team player
Preferred Qualifications
- CPA or pursuing CPA certification
- IBM Planning Analytics experience
- Preparation of Statement of Cash flows experience
