Job Description
This position will manage the administration of GPC’s equity programs (long-term incentive plan (LTIP) and the Employee Stock Purchase Plans (ESPP) globally.
Key Responsibilities
- Primary owner of the the Morgan Stanley At Work /Shareworks stock plan services platform, database and administration of all global equity incentive plans.
- Ensure timely processing of new equity awards, exercises, PRSU and RSU releases, terminations/cancellations, vesting schedules, data integrity, etc.
- Reconcile and support equity grant awards, vesting schedules, new hires, terminations, and cancellation activity to ensure plan compliance, adherence to budgets, and accurate financial reporting
- Oversee monthly ESPP purchases globally
- Answer employee inquiries regarding equity awards and the ESPP
- Responsible for the creation of the monthly, quarterly, and annual reporting of the equity plans
- Assist in the development and maintain educational materials and other resources related to equity compensation
- Develop documentation of equity related processes for audits and compliance with internal controls
- Ensures equity plan transactions (including but not limited to grants, exercises, vesting schedules, demographic and employment changes, etc.) are processed correctly and in a timely manner; frequently reconciles and performs auditing procedures relating to equity transactions to ensure accuracy
- Manages communication with current, former and potential employees about equity compensation. Research issues, ensures timely vendor resolution, recognizes impact of potential issues on other participants.
- Work cross functional across multiple teams and internal/external stakeholders on varying initiatives and programs, including compliance, tax, etc.
- Generate equity reports to support company’s SEC filings including Form 10-Q, 10-K and Proxy statement
- Ensure the team maintains detailed documentation of all stock related processes and procedures and accountable for successful completion of stock team SOX controls.
- Conduct ad hoc research and issue resolution
Requirements
- BA/BS in human resources, business administration, finance, or similar field.
- Shareworks and E*TRADE experience strongly preferred
- Experience with different types of equity awards at a multi-national public company preferred
- Requires a minimum of five (5) years’ experience in compensation including equity programs
- Experience analyzing large data sets and creating meaningful reports to present to senior stakeholders
- Familiarity with Workday, SAP or other HRIS/payroll systems
- Strong consultative skills, presentation skills, financial acumen and internal customer service
- Ability to communicate effectively both orally and in writing
- Strong attention to detail; strong organizational skills
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to evaluate problems and apply knowledge to identify appropriate solutions; ability to resolve issues effectively and efficiently
- Strong interpersonal skills; ability to work in a team environment; ability to develop and maintain strong working relationships
- Strong Excel skills required, along with well-developed analytical skills
- Strong Project management skills coupled with the ability to meet deadlines
- Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office applications - Outlook, Word and PowerPoint
