Job Description

Our 11-weeksummer internship program will be in person in Atlanta (some remote workdays available) and run from May 20, 2024 – August 2, 2024.
As a Diversity, Equity & Inclusion & Sustainability Intern at GPC, you’ll have the opportunity to gain exposure to DEI initiatives and assist with implementation and training programs., you will develop and implement strategies, policies, and programs that align with GPC’s global business goals and support our talent acquisition, retention, and development objectives.
You can expect to…
Help develop the content for the 2023-2024 Sustainability Report and assist with the communication of the report
Conduct interviews with internal SMEs across the GPC organization
Collecting, scrubbing, compile, aggregate and organize sustainability data, including energy consumption, waste, recycling, and human capital
Help supportGPC’s 7 Business Resource Groups
Help coordinate and manage enterprise-wide training
Attend external community events
What you’ll need:
Currently enrolled in an undergraduate program or recent graduate seeking a degree in human resources, sustainability or related field
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Data analytics a plus
