Job Role Summary:
Support IT infrastructure at EIS-INC, including Windows, Linux, Vmware, Azure, Storage, and distributed datacenters. Role will require analyzing, maintaining, repairing and improving existing infrastructure and processes. While juggling forward moving projects, this role will require solving escalated tickets or helping overwhelmed help desk. This will require interaction with other team members or customers. EIS’s forward looking direction is automation and scripting mundane tasks and processes. We are working towards our long term departmental Vision: Infrastructure as Code (IaC). This role will be integral in helping us achieve our departmental Vision. Therefore someone with heavy PowerShell, Python, BASH scripting knowledge is desired. Candidate must have automated tasks at previous job. While not directly responsible for network infrastructure, knowledge of networking and best security practices are required to perform said duties.
Bachelor’s degree in computer-related field (programming preferred).
Very Strong Vmware 5.x+, Windows Server 2008+, Exchange 2012+ (Hybird on prem/o365), SCCM, DNS, TCP/IP, GPO, IIS, MFA, Apache, Powershell.
Moderate to strong skills in Linux Redhat, Ubuntu, Symantec SEP & VIP, O365 Products, Tomcat, Cisco, GIT, Solarwinds, Nagios, Network Storage, Backup Software experience.
Familiarity in Sharepoint, Wifi, Splunk and O365 product suite, strong desire to learn Ansible, Puppet, and other IaC tools for enterprise.
Ability to Architect, design, implement new technologies as needed vs. maintaining status quo.
Bonus skills familiar with ERP systems such as Oracle, SAP, Dataflow, Sage, Rubicon and familiar with devops and scrum/agile methodology.
IT related certifications around server technologies. Detail oriented, open minded individual that takes pride in their work, knows how to work on team and shared knowledge. Willing to travel and put in extra time when critical processes or project deadlines are slipping.
